Wool Processing With Meg Cole - June 20+21 2026

$10.00
sold out

June 20+21st 9am-1pm
Snacks/coffee/tea provided, feel free to bring a lunch for yourself!

Spend the solstice on the farm with Meg Cole teaching us the process of turning raw fleece from our sheep into usable fibre—skirting, washing, drying, picking, and carding. It’s hands-on and paced to the work itself. No experience needed.

In partnership with Sunshine Coast Fibreshed.

The mission of Sunshine Coast Fibreshed is to cultivate a regional fibre network centered around local fibre, natural dyes, and skilled labour, all within a framework of regenerative, soil-to-soil sustainable agriculture. A fibreshed is similar to a local watershed or a foodshed. It is focused on the source of the raw material, the transparency with which it is converted to clothing, and the connectivity among all parts, from soil to skin and back to soil. As an affiliate to the original Fibershed located in California, we are part of an international grassroots network that promotes the development of regional fibre systems and communities. We do this by building relationships, knowledge sharing, events, workshops, and advocacy.
